1. Introduction

Education is the most powerful tool that can transform the life of a child. However, due to the current economic challenges in Sri Lanka, many families are unable to afford even the most basic school supplies. This situation forces thousands of children to attend school without proper educational materials, affecting their learning and self-confidence.

This project aims to support 1000 such students by providing a complete school kit, enabling them to begin the new academic year with dignity and hope.

2. Project Objective

• To provide essential school supplies to 1000 economically disadvantaged students in Sri Lanka.

• To ensure no child misses school or feels inferior due to the lack of basic educational materials.

• To reduce the financial burden on struggling families during the new school year.

3. Target Beneficiaries

• Students from low-income families

• Students in rural villages and underdeveloped districts

• Students identified by school administrations, local organizations, and community leaders

4. Funding Requirement

Each 3000 donation will fully support one child with a complete school kit.

5. School Kit Contents (per student)

Each child will receive a school kit containing:

• School bag

• Exercise books / notebooks

• Pens, pencils, eraser, sharpener

• Geometry box

• Color pencils

• Plastic file / folder

• Additional stationery required for the school year

• Many families in Sri Lanka struggle daily due to rising living costs.

7. Implementation Plan

Phase 1 – Fundraising (0–30 days)

• Launch crowdfunding campaign

• Promote via social media and community networks

• Engage donors locally and internationally

Phase 2 – Procurement (30–45 days)

• Bulk purchase of school supplies

• Preparation of individual school kits

Phase 3 – Distribution (45–60 days)

• Deliver school kits to selected schools

• Photograph and document distribution

• Ensure 100% transparent delivery

Phase 4 – Final Reporting (60–70 days)

• Provide complete expense report

• Provide photographs and school-wise beneficiary list

• Prepare and share final impact summary

8. Transparency & Accountability

All donors will receive:
